The team will provide up-to-date information on both 5G and 4G availability in your area, whether you live or work there.
When you're connected to our 5G network, you'll usually see a "5G" icon in your device’s status bar, right next to the signal bars. The design may vary slightly depending on your phone’s make and model, but it will be clearly labelled.
If you’re in a 5G-covered area but don’t see the 5G symbol, try the following quick checks:
- Make sure your device supports 5G.
- Confirm you have a 5G-enabled SIM card and mobile plan.

Yes, absolutely! It's easy to keep your current mobile number when you switch to Hey!Broadband Mobile. We can guide you through the simple process of transferring your number during signup.
Switching is hassle-free. Once you've chosen your Hey!Broadband Mobile plan, you can request a PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) from your current provider. We'll then use this code to transfer your number and seamlessly switch you over.
Here are the steps:
- Request your PAC code from their current provider (Text PAC code to 65075)
- Our mobile agent will ask for the PAC code along with other details during sign up
- A new Hey!B SIM will be posted to you within 3 -5 working days
- Once you receive your SIM in the post, you will also receive a link via email for activation
- Follow these steps, and once the process is complete, your current number will have been ported to Hey!B
No, your home broadband is entirely independent from 5G network connectivity. You can access 5G services through Hey!Broadband's mobile plans, regardless of your home broadband package. However, if you sign up for both Hey!B Broadband and Mobile SIM, you can save more.
Billing & Support
Your contract will start once you have received and activated your SIM. You will be billed immediately for a portion of your plan, covering the period from activation to the end of the current month. After that, billing will take place on the 1st of each month. Details of your first bill and payment cycle will be provided during the sign-up process.
